In our daily life, we meet so many people who help tomake our life comfortable, but we are ungrateful towards them. If we start preparing list there can be numerous entries, which can include sweepers who clean our roads, metro staff, railway staff, airport staff, police and the list can be added on endlessly. The most significant part of this list is our Indian Army.
First and foremost, I’m shouting out a heartfelt “THANK YOU” for all you have done and continue to do for me and my countrymen and our country.
They are away from their families so that we can stay with our family members. They sacrifice their lives so that we can breathe in the air of free India. They know they have a duty to keep their promise to keep their nation first than their personal life.
You will be surprised to know that Indian soldiers have to face many adversities, especially who get posting at field areas like high terrain area of India such as Batalik (Ladakh), that the human body is not accustom to.I believe they are the best example of someone who works unconditionally for the good of the nation.
Next, I’m offering an equally deep apology and saying, “SORRY.”
Sorry for the fact that you & your near and dear ones have to undergo such hardships to ensure people like I wake up secure every morning.
Sorry that people who know nothing of your tribulations and have not experiencedeven minute of your life, sit in judgement on your eligibility to qualify for a pension that you have earned a thousand times over. Sorry that one among you have to cry on national television to make us common citizens, the beneficiaries of your sacrifices, aware of what the National Flag should mean to us. And mixed in with this grief is anger at some media-persons who ask what the drama is all about when they are the ones who don’t hesitate to milk every distressing incident in the country for their TRPs.

For they who call of duty, left all that was dear to them. Endured hardships, faced dangers & finally passed out of sight. In the path of duty & self-sacrifice, giving their lives, so that we may live in freedom. They selflessly perform their duties to epitomize the very spirit of secularism, national integration, and harmony.
