Do you know who is a Soldier? A Soldier is a person who serves in the Army. A Soldier is the one who is capable of doing all the duties, from the highest to the lowest. A Soldier is a fighter, a trooper, a warrior. But more than this he is a protector. He is the rising sun of the days and the shooting stars of the nights. He is the one who is born from the soil, to bury all his enemies in the soil.

A soldier joins the Indian Army because they realize how much they love India, and what it stands for. They do it because theystand together for liberty and justice for all. They do it because they love spit shining boots. They do it because the flag of the India is something to be proud of. They do it because when they hear the National Anthem, or Taps, or Reveille or Retreat, they still feel the goose bumps on their skin rise. This is what they call,“The Love for the Country".

Do you think it is easy to be a Soldier? Is it easy to stay away from all the relations for a large span of time? Is it easy to stay away from all the fun, enjoyment and sacrifice your leisure life from a very young age? Is it easy to not only be awake, but also be attentive and responsive even after being up for more than 72 hrs? Is it easy to have 3-4 bullets in your body, heavily bleeding, but still continue to fight till the last breath? The Soldiers strictly follow the their motto:"Service before Self".

A Soldier is not who works because he hates his opponent. Rather he is the one who fights because he loves his Homeland.It may be easy to Become a Soldier, but difficult to Be a Soldier. These Indian soldiers are true martyrs of this country. They need to be remembered to every Indian citizens. Despite of our busy schedule in our lives let’s carve our time to show them that we truly support them, to remember them in our hearts, to truly listen to their untold stories that evolve during their struggle and on battlefield, to truly provide necessary resources to them as payback from us citizens of India. A grand event of tribute and salute to INDIAN ARMY at NSCI Dome, Worli on 31st January 2019 is your opportunity to access to world of Indian Army.
