Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian and belonging to many other faiths, he prays, eats, lives, plays and fights for India together with his brothers in uniform. He not only tolerates other religions, but also participates in their rituals and observes their customs and gets immense joy for celebrating their festivals. In many remote corners of the country, he is the flag bearer! He always spreads the message of patriotism and disciplined way of life in all corners of the country.
For our better future, he willingly, selflessly, unpretentiously sacrifices his present and asks for nothing in return. He always believes in “Reward is not my concern.” For him duty is most supreme religion. He gives so much, gets so little in return and yet serves with smile. HE is the quintessential indian who has knit India together. If there is some truth in phrase “Kuch baat hai jo hasti mit-ti nahin humari” (there is something about us that we cannot be destroyed), it is because of his courage and his immeasurable sacrifices.
So lets salute these unsung heroes through event One for all | All for one by Atharva foundation to be held on 31st January 2019 at 6:30 pm @ NSCI Dome Worli, Mumbai.
